Self-Esteem in young Adults

For young adults, how you feel about yourself (self-esteem) is very important. Self-esteem is influenced by the external world (which includes grades, friends, and relationships with family members and friends). People with good self-esteem have a realistic view of what they can do. They tend to be more tolerant of others. They are self-confident, feel good about themselves, and can be assertive. They are less likely to feel depressed.
Many factors can promote (increase) or diminish (decrease) one’s self-esteem. Having good relationships, doing well in school, and feeling proud about your abilities can increase self-esteem.

But, our self-esteem can be harmed in many ways. People with low self-esteem often doubt themselves, worry about what others think, and may struggle to accept themselves. Some people live in challenging situations, facing racism, sexual harassment, child abuse, male chauvinism, and religious intolerance, all of which can damage self-esteem.

This is about self-esteem. This is lacking young people. Self-esteem is very important for future.
