Humans are naturally an omnivorous species.
Unlike cows, which eat only plants, or lions which eat only meat, we are like
the crow or bear which eat both. Thus, it is striking that a new species has
recently arisen in Japan, the herbivorous male who eats only plants. Of course,
this term is used only in the metaphorical sense. These young male still eat
meat, but their behavior is more like a herbivore than a carnivore.
It’s the beginning of about Herbivorous
Males from ‘Good-bye, Galapagos.’
